Our Mission

Facet Music is a non-profit organization committed to preserving the traditions of Asian music and arts by demonstrating their importance and relevance in Canadian society. We promote traditional and innovative Asian music and performing arts by:

  • discovering and presenting talented artists

  • producing high-concept shows and events

  • providing educational programs to the public

It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences.
— Audre Lorde

With both an MBA and a background in marketing and advertising, Miki Wu worked for international banks and multinational advertising agencies for ten plus years in Beijing, China.

After moving to Canada with her family, Miki started her own Chinese antique furniture business with her husband and became very involved with Calgarys interior design community.

Her unique warehouse showroom has become a space to showcase arts and culture by hosting the successful “Warehouse Talks” and “Warehouse Live Concert” series which have been noted as great examples of cross-cultural community events by Avenue magazine.
